Financial and strategic milestones
Gaictech concluded the year 2024 with a record revenue surpassing 14 million euros, representing a 1.2% increase in income compared to the previous year. Beyond the sales figure, the most significant achievement was the 40% increase in profits, reflecting efficient management and a strategy focused on high value-added projects.
Internationalization continued to be a major pillar of the business. In 2025, nearly 70% of machinery sales were conducted outside the European Union, while the domestic market represented only 11.7% of the total. This distribution confirms Gaictech’s global nature and its ability to compete in non-EU markets.
Simultaneously, the company strengthened its commitment to engineering and innovation by expanding its technical department during the current strategic cycle. This internal growth has enabled the development of solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs and the enhancement of existing solutions.
This innovative effort was officially recognized with the awarding of the Innovative SME Seal by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, valid until April 2028.
Additionally, in the field of corporate communication, Gaictech reached a new milestone by surpassing 5,000 followers on LinkedIn in September 2025, solidifying its digital presence and connection with industry professionals worldwide.
Highlighted projects and operations
Throughout the year, Gaictech was involved in major projects across various continents. In January 2025, the company undertook the assembly and delivery of a large tuna grading line for a Korean group, owner of one of the global leading brands in the sector.
Another significant project was the commissioning of complete processing lines for SIMAK in Oman, with a production capacity exceeding 100 million cans per year, further establishing Gaictech’s presence in the Middle East.
November was particularly busy for global expansion, with deliveries and startups in countries such as Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Norway, and Algeria, showcasing the versatility of their solutions and ability to adapt to different markets and raw materials.
Moreover, 2025 was a year of bespoke developments, including the manufacture of specific equipment such as:
- Sardine de-scalers
- Autoclaves for clients in Spain
- A complete fresh mussel line, which included a continuously operating cooler of proprietary design
Active presence at trade fairs and international events
Direct engagement with clients and strategic partners remained a priority. Throughout 2025, Gaictech maintained an active presence at the industry’s major events:
- Halieutis Show (Agadir, Morocco), in February, where relations in the African market were strengthened and potential joint ventures explored.
