Gaictech, in the Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions Ranking

We are proud to announce that Gaictech has been included in the prestigious ranking of Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions 2025, jointly compiled by the Financial Times and Statista, achieving second place in the Mechanical & Plant Engineering category with a sustained growth of 23.3% over the past decade.

This classification recognizes companies that have maintained steady sales growth despite concerns about the economic dynamism in the continent. The list includes 300 companies in Europe with the highest compound annual growth rate over the last 10 years (2013-2023); a period spanning from the aftermath of the early 21st-century financial crisis to the invasion of Ukraine.

Only Spanish Company Recognized in Its Category

As the only Spanish company highlighted in its category, Gaictech competed alongside three other firms in the sector, securing the 200th position within this select group of recognized companies in Europe, of which 28 are Spanish.

Internationalization: A Key Factor in Gaictech’s Growth

Gaictech’s international projects have been crucial in the company’s growth, demonstrating our capacity to successfully execute multiple significant ventures simultaneously. With a network of 251 clients spread across 48 countries, Gaictech remains forward-looking, determined to expand into new markets globally.

The latest example of this commitment is our recent challenge in Central Africa. Earlier this year, Gaictech manufactured and supplied the entire production line for the largest tuna processing plant in Gabon, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the region’s production capacity.

This project adds to other recent successes, such as the creation of a complete production line for Tunamax in Morocco, with an annual capacity of 15,000 tons and more than 50 million cans of tuna per year.

We must also highlight the completion of a project in Oman valued at 6 million euros, which included the deployment of our latest tuna and sardine processing technology at the Duqm plant by the end of 2023.

Tunisia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico, and France have also witnessed our ongoing international expansion, where we have installed complete lines of our various specialties for major canning companies. The international expansion of Gaictech has been supported by our focus on quality and innovation, making us a benchmark in the canning industry.
